Greater Salt Lake City Chapter’s Inaugural Event

The Greater Salt Lake City ACAMS Chapter hosted its launch event, generously sponsored by RDC on November 6, 2014. With almost 70 AML professionals in attendance, the event marked an auspicious beginning to the chapter. Highlighted by networking sessions, and presentations by Aaron Blankenstein of GE Capital (chapter co-chair), Aaron Stroud of RDC, and Karla Monterrosa-Yancey, editor-in-chief of ACAMS, the event was lively and informative. In addition, the networking was demonstrative of the close-knit financial services community that characterizes the Greater Salt Lake City area. Attendees included representatives from regional and national financial institutions, as well as a number of attendees representing non-bank entities that share an anti-money laundering focus. With such an outstanding kick-off, the Greater Salt Lake City ACAMS Chapter looks forward to great things ahead.
