Safe Banking Systems recently donated an automated cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) machine, called the LUCAS device, to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, New York. The LUCAS device will help save the lives of many trauma and cardiac patients at the hospital by providing uninterrupted chest compressions that ensure a steady stream of oxygen to the heart during CPR.
