Denise Spada is a compliance professional with more than 15 years of experience working in the gaming industry as an anti-money laundering (AML) expert. Currently, she serves as the director of AML compliance for Everi Payments Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada. Spada works with the various product development teams on cutting-edge payment technology. Her previous experience includes more than 10 years in banking, as well as two decades as an entrepreneur managing her own company with her husband of 41 years.

Spada has a long list of accolades from ACAMS, including the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designation and Certified Know Your Customer Associate (CKYCA) designation. Other certifications include the Gaming Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (GAMS) and the cash handling certification.

She participates in the American Gaming Association’s AML Working Group and the Las Vegas Casinos AML Working Group. She is an ACAMS Southern Nevada Chapter member. She also received the Global Gaming Women’s Leadership Scholarship. Spada’s accomplishments are surpassed only by her passion for AML and extraordinary focus on her craft.

Spada also participates in her company’s mentoring program, sharing her experience and expertise with others to help guide their career development. She has two incredibly accomplished children (now adults), like their mom. The Spada family also participates in the annual Blankets for Cancer Drive that benefits children’s hospitals in the Las Vegas Valley.
