Update: As you all know, we in the Greater Philadelphia Chapter are participating in the Wilmington, Delaware "Light The Night" Walk to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society this Saturday, October 12th. It is with GREAT pleasure and Chapter Pride that I announce that we have reached our goal of raising over $3,000 to help fight this deadly disease. Fundraising is still going on but I wanted you all to know of this tremendous achievement.
On behalf of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter Board, I would like to invite all of you to join our chapter's team for the "Light The Night" Walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on Saturday October 12, 2013 in Wilmington, Delaware. As a board, we strive to bring all that ACAMS has to offer to the compliance professionals in The Greater Philadelphia area. We also recognize that, as successful professionals, we have plenty to share with our community as a whole. As the chapter continues to grow, we will be looking for ways to give back to our community and to those less fortunate. This "Light The Night" Charity Walk is our first effort to that effect. By joining our team and raising funds for this important cause, you'll be making a real impact on the fight against cancer. On Walk night, you'll join us with other teams and individuals from all over our community in the culmination of our efforts to find cures. Walk night is a family-oriented evening in which participants carry illuminated balloons, raise awareness of blood cancers and come together as a caring community. Our Team name reflects our attitude, ACAMS Cares!
